In Juniata County, National Night Out will be held at Myers Park in Mifflintown, beginning at 5 p.m. The newest addition to National Night Out will be a train engine on display with railroad safety information provided by The Juniata Valley Railroad Company. The National Guard will have a rock wall, humvee and stryker on display. The fire departments and police will have their annual tug-of-war competition. The event also includes a bicycle raffle and adult raffles.Ĭars, jeeps and motorcycles will be on display from the All American Cruzers, Keystone State Muscle Cars, Seven Mountains Jeep Club and Patriot Riders.Įmergency responders will also be present with fire trucks and ambulances on display. Backpacks will be on a first come first serve basis and will be available for school aged children, K-12,” said Children and Youth administrator Nicole Patkalitsky. With the help of the community, they were able to collect more than 530 backpacks.
